The EasyPhones Story

The idea for Easyphone was created when I had to help my Dad whilst he was in a Care Home and had trouble calling family and friends.

As I am in the Mobile Phone business, I decide to develop a solution to help him especially as his eye sight was weak. That is where the range of “easy to use” Mobile Phones were born, which not only makes keeping in touch stress free but also makes sure that our Elderly loved ones are not digitally excluded.

Our range of Easyphone became popular in his Care Home with residents all wanting to buy from our range.

10,000 Easyphones later, it’s good to know in a small way we are helping families stay in touch where ever they are.

I have a very elderly relative who is still quite sprightly, and it was about time she was brought into the 21st century insofar that she still was using one of the first Nokias that I'm sure would fetch a great deal at public auction for its vintage value! This is not the first mobile of its type I have bought her but the third. She found the first two not as easy as the instructions had led me to believe it would be. One of my staff members suggested this phone, not least her grandmother was ten years older than my relative and found this one "a doddle". The phone arrived at my door less than twelve hours after placing my order. I am an avid Apple user, and as we all know, the packaging often "says it all". You would have thought that the packaging of this phone was designed by whoever taught Apple how to package! Just simply superb, and I immediately knew that the contents would also be of good quality and I wasn't let down. The packaging contains everything needed and, unusually, even a spare SIM card and a set of earphones (that even Apple don't include anymore!) The instructions were not (as were the other phones I had purchased) in poor English, but crystal clear as if they had put it past the Plain English Society! Also of importance to me is that the company is based in the UK, which gives me a bit (probably a lot) of extra peace of mind support-wise. It would be an understatement to say I'm impressed with it, and it was as easy as pie to set up. I'm not techy by any stretch of the imagination and noticed an offer in the brochures to telephone the company if any help might be needed. I phoned them, and they kindly took the time to help me download (I think that's the right word) my relative's contacts. Old-fashioned good service. I have just returned back delivering the phone to my relative, and I even went to the trouble of putting it all back in the packaging so she could share the excitement of opening it! The screen is super large, and there's a volume boost button that will hopefully ensure that she doesn't miss any calls. Well recommended, and I'm contemplating getting one for an elderly neighbour who can more than afford to buy it himself, but his wallet is often hard to open! Finally, another huge thanks to this company, who were a joy to deal with.

Really easy to set up and straightforward to use. It’s great for someone elderly who still wants a smartphone. Mum has brain damage following a stroke so struggles to retain information but is and to call me simply by pressing my picture. There may be some functions she can’t use but honestly don’t think it could be made simpler. Really good loud ring as well.

My 78-year old mother loves this. She had a smart phone that was a hand me down but was unsure how to use it, struggling to find apps, etc. Chose this phone for her and showed her how to use. Spent an hour teaching and she is now a pro. She loves how easy it is to choose the different apps. The instructions that come with it are very easy to read and understand for my mother. Being a larger screen, it’s a lot easier to select what you want to do on the phone. I set up the SOS button that comes with this in case she needs me in a hurry. Main problem now is we have a WhatsApp family group chat and now we are being bombarded with photos and messages from my mother in the chat. She has become a spammer at the age of 78 lol. If you want a smart phone for the elderly, this is the one. When she needs to charge the phone, she just sits it on the supplied charging dock. NO need to fiddle about trying to fit the usb charging cable into the bottom of the phone when you have poor eyesight and severe arthritis in her hands. The game changer for me is if you have any issues with the phone, you have the round the clock support from Easyphone.

I bought the phone for my mum. It’s simple to use, got nice big touch-buttons and she was up and running in no time. It seems to be a bit of a bargain at its price point. She/we are delighted with it, and would happily recommend to anyone else!

I got this phone for my mother..she’d had a cheaper model from a different seller before but wasn’t happy with it at all. Straight out of the box we could tell this one was a better thought out product. It was really good to have a UK based call centre to help me set the phone up …they were very friendly and patient. But to be honest I could probably easily have set it up and personalised it myself as it’s very intuitive. In the Settings I particularly liked the Picture Speed Dial feature , so mum can just tap a Picture and it Automatically Dials me or my wife. Nice to know that I was buying from a UK company too. Would definitely recommend this good quality Phone . Andrew

I bought an Easyphone for my elderly Grandma and she loves it. She was finding swipe functions a little difficult on standard smart phone. This phone combines easier touch functions with clear larger keys. Handy being able to send texts without using numeric keys as with most seniors phones. It was also unlocked so no tie in contracts. Great emergency SOS function with GPS. Loved the support from Easyphones

Ever since Lockdown because of this Pandemic. I had been going on line Zoom, on a daily basis. It was decided that as there was a lot of us, one person would put the time and the special numbers and pass words on a notice board on Whatsapp. Great, but Some of us didn't have an I.phone, you see we were in our 80's. I googled my need, and right away this delightful Easy to use Easy phone appeared with WHATSAPP RIGHT THERE ON DISPLAY AS PART OF THE PHONE I didn't need to look further, this phone even has a magnifying glass . So many of us have poor sight! along with our old age!! What's more it wasn't expensive. It is a everything I wanted, and am getting to know if by using it. My lockdown has been opened up with this phone.
